Corporate owners and officers, make sure you file your annual statement of information. Each year you need to file an updated statement of officers and directors and keep your address up to date on file.
You can easily take care of this online at https://businessfilings.sos.ca.gov. There is a $25 fee and as long as you are doing business in California you need to do this annual Statement of Information with the California Secretary of State.
Beware of companies that will claim to file this form for you and charge you a whopping $200 fee to do it. You can easily do this yourself and avoid the scams.
